Standards & compliance

Quality & Compliance

Quality is not a department at AraChem — it is embedded in every step of our synthesis, research, and supply processes.

When you order from AraChem, you receive more than a chemical — you receive a compound with traceable provenance, analytical evidence of identity and purity, and the assurance that it was produced by trained scientists following controlled procedures.

We understand that for pharmaceutical, regulatory, and research applications, quality is as important as chemical purity. That is why we invest heavily in both our analytical capabilities and our quality management infrastructure.

Our quality framework

ISO 9001 Quality Management

AraChem operates under a quality management system aligned with ISO 9001 principles — ensuring consistent, documented, and auditable processes across all synthesis and research activities.

Certificate of Analysis

Every custom synthesised product is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) documenting identity, purity, and characterisation data.

GMP-Aligned Processes

For pharmaceutical-grade supply, AraChem follows GMP-aligned synthesis protocols — including documented batch records, raw material controls, in-process checks, and release testing.

Safety & Regulatory Compliance

We operate in full compliance with REACH, CLP, and European chemical safety regulations. All hazardous materials are handled, stored, and shipped according to ADR/IATA requirements.

Analytical Characterisation

Complex molecules receive multi-technique characterisation.

Confidentiality & IP Protection

We readily enter NDAs and handle all proprietary structures with strict confidentiality. Our synthesis model is exclusive by default, and any exceptions — such as surplus material from custom runs — are handled only with client agreement.

Safety commitment

The safe handling of chemicals is a fundamental responsibility. AraChem maintains a comprehensive safety programme covering laboratory operations, waste disposal, and logistics. All staff receive regular safety training and our facilities are designed to meet European occupational health and safety standards.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in GHS format are provided as standard for all products. For new compounds, we prepare SDS based on structural analogy and available toxicological data in accordance with CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
